Since 1999, Guylain has invested in and developed residential, commercial and land assets. That work taught him to see the potential in complex assets, then structure the financing, negotiations and partnerships to realize it. At SCI Canada, he leads corporate development and strategic relationships, connecting the vision with partners and execution.
Co-Founder · Technology
An electrical engineer, Rubén began his career as an aerospace engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces, working on wireless telemetry. A founding member of Apple’s iPhone team, he went on to lead wireless technology development across major products, then served as Corporate Vice President of Engineering for devices and technology at Microsoft. At SCI Canada, he guides the technology vision, assesses prospective capabilities and steers architecture and collaboration decisions.
Strategy and Operations
Sarine has more than 12 years of commercial financing experience, including commercial banking at RBC and commercial mortgage brokerage. Trained in actuarial mathematics at UQAM, she also teaches commercial financing. At SCI Canada, she leads planning, resource coordination and the tracking of operational priorities.
Capital Strategy and Financing
Maria brings more than 25 years of leadership in financial services, including caisse management, network development and organizational transformation. At SCI Canada, she shapes capital strategy, analyzes financing structures and manages relationships with financial partners.
